Daniel covers public policy, local government and democratic institutions, with a focus on the people affected by political decisions.

Before joining Newslora in 2021, Daniel spent close to a decade reporting for regional and national titles, learning that the clearest stories usually start with a long conversation and a careful look at the documents.

Daniel works closely with editors across the newsroom and appears regularly on The Newslora Podcast. Story ideas and tips are always welcome through the editorial desk.
